Below is an interesting article in last week’s Crain’s. Evidently, engineering is in high demand in NYC as our tech sector continues to grow. The article discusses a new relationship with Google and the CornellNYC Tech campus that is on the horizon. There is no mention of CUNY in this article. I’m sure that there are a number of CUNY based tech initiatives, but it would be a shame to miss out on these expanding opportunities and business relations if this is a growing sector in NYC. Any comments from individuals with knowledge about this trend or these initiatives would be greatly appreciated.
